The Long Draw grid-scale solar project site in Borden County, TX stopped all construction work today for a vigorous review of safety procedures and on-site screening, following four workers testing positive for COVID-19.
Out of an abundance of caution, all co-workers that had any contact with either worker have been tested and will remain in self-quarantine though May 22, pending their results. The site will undergo a thorough deep cleaning and recommit to its rigorous COVID-19 prevention, mitigation and containment plan.
In those instances, the impacted workers had only returned to the site for a single day following time away with their families when they became symptomatic and went for COVID-19 testing on the following day.
The site will resume construction once it has completed all safety protocols and remains in close coordination with local county health authorities.
