Pay scale is as follows: 
If a college degree has been obtained – $100 per day
If some college hrs have been obtained – $90 per day
No college hrs – $80 per day

The Borden County Independent School District today announced an amendment to its policy for serving meals for children served under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 2019-2020 school year, which would allow for all children at all schools/sites to be served meals at no charge.

2019-2020 BCISD Registration

Tuesday August 13 – Wednesday August 14

All students new to the district as well as all returning students should plan on registering on one of these two days. Students will be seen on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Students new to the district will need to bring a Social Security Card, birth certificate and shot record. BJH students (6th-8th) will receive their class schedules and select a locker. BHS students (9th-12th) will pick-up their class schedule and select a locker.

BHS football players should not miss practice to register and should plan on completing registration process sometime between 1-4 p.m.

2015-2016 Accreditation Status

The Texas Education Agency awards an accreditation status to each public school district and charter school. The accreditation status is based on the academic accountability rating and financial ratings from the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas. A district or charter must be accredited by the state to operate as a public school.

Borden County has “Met Standard” meeting the academic accountability rating and financial ratings from the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas.
